ON OCTOBER 3RD, 2025 Karoline released her 7th solo album with 11 new songs in her native language, Danish.
The music is arranged in a truly Haustedian cross-over style and features prominent guest musicians from the jazz- folk- and classical scene, while the lyrics center around age, loss, transition, sisterhood, climate grief, a laughing elderberry tree, well.. and one space telescope.

The 2024 release from Karoline Hausted is “Back to the Garden - Voices & Traces” in collaboration wih Mark Davis. In the landscape at Sneptrup, musicians Karoline Hausted and Mark Davis have created a soundtrack for the walk along Præstegårdsstien. On the path that goes through beautiful fields and forests, you meet Allan Bo Jensen's wooden sculptures. Back to the Garden - Voices & Traces is an invitation to enjoy nature and at the same time reflect more closely on our role in it.
2023 sees two brand new soloalbums from Karoline Hausted: Nova - releaseed on December 16, 2022 - a minimalistic album featuring Karoline on her celtic Cithara Nova harp and vocals, based on Hausted's own compositions and traditional folk songs from around the globe.
And One and Apart - released on February 17, 2023 - a journey into Karoline's songs that were written in her first years as a newcomer to the United States. A rich, versatile production formed in collaboration with a string of very fine musicians.
Danish-born Karoline Hausted, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, weaves together influences from classical, world and folk music to ethereal piano-pop.
Since her solo debut, Double Silence (2009), she has traveled the world and lived in various places while recording and releasing several albums, Drawings (2010), Jeg tror jeg drømmer (2012) and Echoes (2013). Jeg tror jeg drømmer, featuring songs in her native Danish, earned her nominations for the Danish Music Award's ”Track of the Year,” and for The GAFFA Award for ”Female Artist of the Year”.
Her music has been used in various programs on Danish national TV and radio.
Karoline has been living in California from 2011-2020 where she was writing and recording her music. She is also a performing member and co-founder of the two bands: Shadowlands (triple New Times Music Award winner) and most recently To Wake You in partnership with her husband- songwriter and guitarplayer - Mark Davis. The couple now lives in Denmark where Karoline continues to work as a recording and performing musician.
